Yarrow

Terms of service

Effective October 8, 2026

In plain English

  • Yarrow is a planning tool for adults in the US. It isn't a bank and it isn't financial advice.
  • Yarrow suggests moves; you decide and you make them. It can't move your money.
  • Plans and dates come from your bank data and what you tell us. They can be wrong, so check before you act.
  • Apple bills the subscription. Cancel any time in iPhone Settings.
  • Our liability is limited, and Wyoming law applies.

1. This agreement

These terms are an agreement between you and Menos App LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company ("Menos App", "we", "us"), which provides the Yarrow app and the website yarrow.money ("Yarrow"). By creating an account or using Yarrow, you agree to these terms and to our privacy policy. If you don't agree, don't use Yarrow.

2. Who can use Yarrow

You must be at least 18 years old, live in the United States, and be able to form a binding contract. You may only connect accounts that you own or are authorized to access. Yarrow is for your personal use, not for running a business or managing other people's money.

3. What Yarrow does

Yarrow reads the bank data you choose to share and the information you give it, and uses them to suggest a plan: what to pay and set aside each payday, budgets, alerts, and projected dates. Yarrow is software. It is not a bank, lender, broker, investment adviser, credit counselor, debt settlement or credit repair service, or tax or legal adviser. It does not hold, move or transfer money, make payments, offer credit, or contact your creditors.

We may change, add or remove features over time. If we remove something important you're paying for, we'll tell you.

4. Not financial advice

Everything Yarrow shows you is general planning information based on the numbers available to it. It is not financial, investment, tax, legal or credit advice, and it isn't a recommendation tailored with knowledge of your whole situation. Yarrow can't know everything about your life, such as debts it can't see, upcoming expenses, or legal or tax issues. For advice about your situation, talk to a qualified professional, such as a nonprofit credit counselor, an accountant or a lawyer.

Dates, payoff times and other projections are estimates from your current numbers. They are not promises or guarantees of any result. They change when your income, bills, balances or interest rates change.

5. Your decisions

You decide whether to follow any suggestion, and you make every payment or transfer yourself, outside Yarrow. You're responsible for those decisions and for checking that a payment or transfer makes sense before you make it, including that you have enough money for it and that it reaches the right account on time. You remain responsible for paying your bills and debts, whatever Yarrow shows.

6. Bank data and accuracy

Yarrow depends on data from your bank, through Plaid, and on what you tell it. That data can be late, incomplete or wrong. For example, transactions can post days late, pending amounts can change, and a bank connection can stop working. Yarrow can also misread data, such as mistaking a transfer for a paycheck. Your bank's own records are the official ones. Check important numbers with your bank before you act on them, and keep your information in Yarrow up to date.

Notifications depend on your device, your settings, Apple and your bank's data, so they may arrive late or not at all. Don't rely on Yarrow as your only reminder for a bill.

7. Subscriptions and trial

  • Yarrow requires a paid subscription, bought through Apple's App Store. The price and billing period are shown in the App Store before you subscribe.
  • New subscribers may get a free trial. If you don't cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the subscription starts and Apple charges you.
  • Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period at the then-current price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends.
  • Cancel any time in iPhone Settings: tap your name, then Subscriptions, then Yarrow. You keep access until the end of the period you've paid for.
  • Apple handles payments and refunds under its own terms. Request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.
  • If we change the price, Apple will tell you beforehand as its rules require, and you can cancel before the new price applies.
  • Deleting the app or your Yarrow account doesn't cancel your subscription.

8. Your account

You sign in with Apple. Keep your Apple account and iPhone secure, because anyone who can unlock your phone may be able to see your Yarrow data. Tell us right away at boston@yarrow.money if you think someone else has used your account.

9. Acceptable use

Don't: connect accounts you aren't authorized to access; use Yarrow for anything illegal or fraudulent; try to break, overload, reverse engineer or get around the security of Yarrow; access other people's data; scrape Yarrow or use bots against it; or resell or copy Yarrow. We may suspend or close accounts that do these things.

10. Plaid, Apple and others

Yarrow uses third parties, including Plaid to connect to your bank and Apple for sign-in, notifications and billing. Your use of their services is also governed by their own terms and privacy policies, including Plaid's End User Privacy Policy. We aren't responsible for their services, outages or errors. Your bank's terms continue to apply to your accounts.

11. Our content

Yarrow, including its software, design, text and the Yarrow name and logo, belongs to Menos App. We give you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use Yarrow on Apple devices you own or control, under these terms. Your data stays yours; you give us permission to use it only to provide Yarrow, as described in the privacy policy. If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them without owing you anything.

12. Ending your use

You can stop using Yarrow and delete your account at any time (how). We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms, if the law requires it, or if we stop offering Yarrow. If we stop offering Yarrow, we'll give you reasonable notice when we can. Sections 4 to 6 and 11 to 15 continue after your use ends.

13. Disclaimers

To the extent the law allows, Yarrow is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and non-infringement. We don't promise that Yarrow will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, that its data or projections will be accurate, or that using it will improve your finances or produce any particular result.

14. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows:

  • Menos App, its owners, members, employees and suppliers won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost money, lost savings, lost profits or lost data, including overdraft fees, late fees, interest, penalties or credit score effects from payments or transfers you make or don't make, even if we were told they were possible.
  • Our total liability for all claims about Yarrow is limited to the greater of the amount you paid for Yarrow in the 12 months before the claim arose, or $50.

Some states don't allow some of these limits, so they may not all apply to you. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, such as for fraud or intentional misconduct.

15. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. If you have a problem, please email us first; most issues can be fixed quickly. Any claim that can't be resolved informally must be brought in the state or federal courts located in Wyoming, and you and we consent to their jurisdiction, except that either of us may bring an individual claim in small claims court where we qualify. This section doesn't take away any consumer protection rights you have under the laws of the state where you live that can't be waived.

16. Apple terms

If you got Yarrow from the App Store, these terms are between you and Menos App, not Apple. Apple isn't responsible for Yarrow or its content, and has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for it. If Yarrow fails to meet a warranty that applies, you can tell Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price, if any; Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple isn't responsible for any claims about Yarrow, including product liability claims, claims that Yarrow fails to meet legal or regulatory requirements, consumer protection or privacy claims, or claims that Yarrow infringes someone's intellectual property; Menos App is responsible for those to the extent these terms say so. You confirm that you aren't located in a country subject to a US government embargo and aren't on a US government list of prohibited or restricted parties. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you. Your use of Yarrow must also follow the App Store's Usage Rules.

17. Changes

We may update these terms. We'll post the new version here with a new effective date, and if a change is significant we'll tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect. If you keep using Yarrow after a change takes effect, the new terms apply. If you don't agree, stop using Yarrow and cancel your subscription.

If any part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies. If we don't enforce a part right away, we haven't given up the right to. These terms and the privacy policy are the whole agreement between you and us about Yarrow. You can't transfer these terms to someone else; we may transfer them as part of a merger or sale of the business.
